Why Use Kneading
Knots? I have been providing massages since March, 2000. I customize each
session to fit the client's needs. We also offer Gift Certificates
for any occasion. What Is a Knot? Whenever a muscle is active, it produces a
waste product. Poor posture and stress do not allow muscles to
relax back to their natural state. This constant tension does not
allow the muscle to release all the waste into the bloodstream.
That residue of waste builds up and forms the
pain/tension/knots.
How Does Massage Get
Rid of Knots? The pressure and stretching of massage breaks up the waste
and increases circulation. The increased circulation acts as a
high-pressure hose to rinse away the toxins.
Why Drink Water After a
Massage? Drinking water after a massage helps to flush the toxins
from the bloodstream. If the toxins are not properly flushed from
the bloodstream, they will be absorbed back into the body at one
time, and can lead to queasy feelings, and additional
soreness.
Will I loose inches
with your Body Wraps? Through the firming and detoxifying benefits of the Black
and Acti-Sea mud wraps, there is the possibility of inch loss.
Every body is different, and inch loss is not the focus of my
Wraps. I provide no guarantee of inch loss. I will guarantee softer
hydrated skin.
Can I loose inches with your
Body Wraps? If the Body Wraps are viewed as a treatment program and
are accompanied by a healthy lifestyle, then yes it is possible to
loose inches and tone areas of your body. Again, I can provide no
guarantee of inch loss.
What do you consider
a healthy lifestyle? I recommend avoiding large quantities of sodium during a
Wrap Treatment. Examples are sodas, canned foods, boxed dinners,
and most pre-made foods. I would recommend eating mostly fresh
foods, fruits and vegetables, as well as drinking plenty of water.
I would also recommend walking 3 times a week.
What do
you consider a treatment plan? A treatment plan of body wraps would consist of at least 5
sessions. If you purchase 4 at one time, the 5th is free. I would
recommend scheduling twice a month to once a week.

A Word from the
Owner
My name is
Jennifer Booth. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist through the
Texas Department of Health. I am certified by the National
Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB),
and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Massage began as a hobby. I enjoyed
rubbing shoulders and relieving friends' stress in college. After
many people told me I had a natural talent, I considered massage as
a career. Attending Massage School helped me fine-tune my talent
and learn the technical side of the manual manipulation of soft
tissues. That is why I love both the relaxing and therapeutic
styles of massage. I have been a professional therapist
since March of 2000, and I have truly enjoyed it. I have worked at
a Sports Club, as well as a Day Spa. Both locations furthered my
experience in massage.
